Friday at Squab was all about getting involved with raising money for Children in Need. Everyone across the business – Squab, Box-it Central (sister company) and Squab Hall Farm, took part in a range of activities, raising money throughout the day.
All staff were encouraged to wear something Pudsey-related. From onesies to nighties, there was a strong effort! Not to mention the whole office was ‘Pudsied’, with Pudsey Bear stuck to everyone’s monitors and yellow balloons bouncing around.
Meanwhile, there was a baking competition – any bake, not just cakes! The judging, which was the job of Emlyn Evans, Director, was based around the four categories below. When the judging was over, anyone who wanted a slice of the action made a donation.
Here’s the winners…
Victoria sponge round:
Prior to the day and throughout, there was also a plank-off to determine who could plank for the longest. The winner was Steve with a time of 4 minutes 2 seconds – wow!
We also attempted the Mannequin Challenge – you’ll have to check out Twitter to see how we got on!
We’re pleased to announce that £135 was raised on the day. Director, Emlyn, has kindly matched this amount which brings the grand total to £270 raised for Children in Need!
Thanks to everyone who got involved and made it a great day.
