Spotlight Series: Love For The Mama

Our Spotlight Series is all about meeting the people using our business centre and conferencing facilities. Over time, we’ve been lucky enough to meet a range of businesses who have used our conference facilities (with many becoming ‘regulars’) and now, with our brand-new business centre we hope to meet even more! We appreciate there’s a growing demand for flexible working and our facilities allow people and businesses to work in exactly that way. After all, life is busy!

We’re kicking off the series by shining the spotlight onto Kayla Echegaray, founder of Love For The Mama.

Kayla founded her business when she was on maternity leave with her second daughter. As you can imagine or will know, life with two small children is slightly crazy and Kayla began to jot down slogans to describe her experiences as a mama. Kayla wanted to share these slogans (which so many will be able to relate to) and they can now be found on a range of clothing products, from t-shirts for mums to baby grows (these are particularly adorable, we might add).Kayla E (Love For The Mama)

The vibe of Love For The Mama is uplifting and one which encourages mums to feel good about themselves while celebrating parenthood. Kayla also has a blog where she and other inspirational mums share their parenting experiences and balancing their busy careers.

So why is Love For The Mama using our business centre? Well, Kayla has organised an event called ‘Mama Meet Up’ – the first one, in fact! The event includes a range of speakers – all hardworking mums, with Anna Whitehouse, a.k.a. Mother Pukka, as the main speaker. We know it’s going to be a great event and one with lots of stories and laughter.

We’re sorry to say, folks, that the event is already sold out. But you never know, similar events may return – we’ll keep you posted!

We asked Kayla what made her choose our facilities:

Kayla (Love For The Mama)“I chose Squab because not only does it have lovely and welcoming people working at the facility but it has beautiful and picturesque surroundings and so it doesn’t feel like you are entering into a typical place of work. It is in a perfect location because it has easy access to Leamington Spa but also from the motorway with no hassle onsite free parking. I think this is paramount when you are holding an event with mothers and their children, especially with all the paraphernalia that comes with being a mum. I know all the guests of the event will think the place is fantastic.”

Follow Kayla on Instagram and ‘Link’ her Facebook page for all the latest mama happenings. Don’t forget to take a look at her online clothing store!
