As you may be aware, The Myton Hospices is our charity of the year and throughout the year, we’ll be taking part in a number of activities and events to show our support and raise money for this excellent charity within our community.
One such event we’ve recently taken part in was The Myton Hospices ‘Glow in the Moonlight’, held on Saturday 16th September.
As you may have guessed from the name, it involved neon APLENTY – we’re talking glow sticks, copious amounts of face paint, an array of colourful leg warmers and tutus, not to mention an interesting selection of flashing headgear. When darkness fell, well over 1,000 people descended in full glow gear and high spirits to St Nicholas Park, Warwick, where a 5km route had been set up. The aim? To walk, run, or even dance your way round, all to raise money.
We, along with colleagues from our sister company, Box-it Central, joined the flow of glowing traffic around St Nicholas Park and what a great atmosphere it was – complete with 80s music! Typically, it was pouring with rain pre-event, but fortunately eased off by the time we started – not that the English weather would’ve dampened anyone’s spirits.
What a great way to spend a Saturday evening – bring on the next one, we say!

P.S. We’ll be sharing the money we raise for The Myton Hospices on a thermometer style chart as we go along – update to follow.
