Squab’s farm manager nominated for second prestigious award

Squab Hall farm manager, Rob Fox, continues to be recognised for his excellence, after receiving news that he has been nominated for the Arable Innovator of the Year award with the British Farming Awards. This is Rob’s second award nomination this year, having recently made it to the final three in the Farmers’ Weekly ‘Farm Manager of the Year’ award.

Rob tweeted: “Flattered to be a finalist for this year’s #BFA19. More recognition for just doing the job I love!”

Commenting on Rob’s success, Farmers Weekly said: “In a drive for greater efficiency, Rob set up an arable joint venture with two other farms. He has also improved poorer land performance and engaged widely with others to share knowledge.”

Rob is up against three other farmers for the BFA’s Arable Innovator prize and two others for the Farmers’ Weekly Farm Manager of the Year award.
