One of the least populated countries in Asia, Malaysia is made up of rolling countryside, jungles, tropical islands and beaches to relax on.

Kuala Lumpur is the capital city of Malaysia and is the financial, cultural and economic centre of the city. Housing offices for large international businesses, cultural markets and luxury shopping centres – Kuala Lumpur is an attractive destination for expats looking to immerse themselves in Malaysia’s culture.

A popular destination for expats, the cost of living in Malaysia is extremely low and property ownership laws for expats are also very relaxed. Employment and career opportunities are also very promising in Malaysia as its economy is stable and growing.

Malaysia also has an excellent healthcare system with state provided healthcare or private healthcare that still comes in at a much lower price than other countries. Education is also of a good standard in Malaysia with a great range of international schools available – especially in Kuala Lumpur.

Malaysia is a melting pot of nationalities and as a result it has a rich culture and a developed cuisine. Many of Malaysia’s influences come from its Chinese and Indian immigrants as well as a strong history of colonisation.
